HPE

 Today we were using table tennis equpment to help us with balance.

 Mr Ogilvie told us how to hold a table tennis bat we hold it like we are doing a handshake and then hold the back side as a gun.

Then we were trying to bounce the ball on our table tennis bat by using our forehand I bounced it 20 times then it fell.

Then we were trying it again but with our backhand I bounced it 19 times then the ball fell.

Lastly we were playing a game of table tennis the challenger was the one that does the serve. The serve name was drop serve we had to drop the ball and hit it after it bounced I was the champion in that game.

I had lots of fun playing table tennis because it helped me learn how to serve in table tennis

.

bicycle

I did  3  introduction about  bycyicles.

My first introduction was basic fact. basic fact means a fact about your topic.  My introduction was  about what a  bicycle needs to work.

My second introduction was a question hook which means a intersting question about your topic . My introduction was  who made the first  bicycle.

My last introduction explain emotion. Explain emotion means what could happen to you or how sweet a food or fruit is. My introduction is how you can be hurt if you do not stay carefull on a  bicycle.

Measurement

My maths group measured objects and wrote their size.

First we measured the size of the bag storage bench. The bag storage was 1.2 metres long. 

Next we measured how long a trapezium table is. The trapezium table was 76 centimetres. 

Lastly, we measured how long a tote tray is. The tote ray was 51 centimetres.

I learned a lot about measurement.  Next time I would try to measure more objects for example white board.

HPE

 Today we were practicing balance using frisbee equpement

The first activity was to throw the frisbee at eachother in a balanced way so they can catch it.

The second activity was to jump and catch the frisbee and in the air we had to change direction in a balanced way.

The third activity was to run and catch the frisbee and land facing the taget and had to hit the target with the frisbee.

The last activity was ultimate frisbee to pass the frisbee to our team and score on the other team.

It was fun because I learnd more about balance. 

Inquiry

 Today we were markting party popper.

First we wrote the parts of the party popper.

Next we wrote the updated vesion of the party popper.

Then we wrote why we changed the parts.

I enjoyed this task becasue now I can craft a party popper at home.

Questions

We revised some words and sentence in Māori.

First, we revised to say mua, muri, runga, raro, and waenganui. Mua means in front of you, muri means at the back, runga means on the top, raro means below, and waenganui means in between.

Next, we revised the question. It was "Kei hea te panana? Kei roto i te pouaka makariri. It means where is the banana? The banana is in the fridge.

 I enjoyed this activity because Whae Oddie helped me revise some words and some sentence that I forgot.

Three basic turn

There are three basic turns. They are: one quarter turn, a half turn, and a full turn. 

There are two directions. They are: anti clockwise and clockwise.

HPE

I learned how to balance using tennis equipment.

First I bounced the ball on the racket and tried not to let it fall on ground.

Next my partner threw the ball at me and I had to hit it back to him.

Lastly we learned how to run in a balanced way and I hit the ball in a balanced way.

I liked this activity because it helped me to learn more about balance.

Prototec

I completed stage 4 of prototec. It took me 5 minute and 53 seconds. I got 60/60 and got all of them correct.

Next time I need to do my work faster.

I liked this task becasue it checks my addition and subraction skiils.

I completed my basic fact boxes up to 10 in multiplication in 7 minutes.

I want to do multiplication faster next time.

The lesson learnt from this task was that how I can manage multiplication within specific time.

SSR selfie- Wimpy kid

 I  read 34 pages of the book the book Wimpy kid.

The story was about Greg Heffley was willing to play video games and have fun with his friends but his dad wanted to spend more time with him. His dad tried his best to have a better relationship with Greg but they ended up getting stuck in a camping site. 

I enjoyed this book because I like Wimpy kid books.

I completed my speed denom challenge up to 20 in addition in minutes 5 minute and 7 seconds. 

This was easy task. Next time I will do harder level.

The lesson learnt from this task was that how I can manage addition within specific time.

 Did you know that fireworks were made out of dye with charcoal and a fuse with a string at the end therefore the firework when ignited will explode with colour.

Did you know that Chocolate is made from roasted cocoa beans and sugar Because the cocoa beans taste bitter  sugar will put the tasty flavor  that adds sweetness to the chocolate When they are mixed together they form a liquid. When they are  put in the fridge they set or harden in the shape that they are. For example  a star shaped mold will produce star shaped chocolate
